Our eggs are not only amazingly tasty and fresh, but the hens that lay them are the happiest they can be.  Their welfare is truly important to us.

We bring up enough eggs each day for the shop and the cafe, ensuring that the eggs you buy are super fresh!

We run the world’s first egg restaurant on a free range hen farm – the multi-ward winning Yolk Farm Kitchen (www.yolkfarm.co.uk) – and understand the importance of high quality produce and also the difficulties of hospitality.

 

Fresh and Tasty

Our free range hens are fed a routine diet supplemented with vegetables from our farm shop, naturally enhancing the yolks making them super golden, natural and delicious. Our setup means we can offer unrivalled freshness, delivering you eggs that were collected that morning - perfect for poaching.

 

Safe

Our eggs go through two levels of quality control. We are fully EHO compliant and a DEFRA registered packer and producer. The eggs we sell have been hand selected for quality; strong-shelled, brown and healthy.

 

High Welfare

Our small flock size ensures the highest possible welfare. Our hens have a huge paddock with plenty of grass and lots of toys to play with.  They are guarded by alpacas who help keep foxes at bay.
